There will be some physical outdoor activities during this trip including paddle boarding and hiking. Please review the detailed itinerary and be sure you are physically capable to participate in all the activities.
If you would like to sit out for an activity, that is perfectly fine. The home we are staying in will be open at all times and is just a short walk to the beach.
Day One: Arrive in at our retreat location in Pacific City, Oregon at 3pm or later (address will be sent about 1-2 months prior to trip, after you are registered for the trip). We will start with introductions and a relaxing, scenic walk to the beach. After grounding in the soft sands of the Pacific Coast, we will return home for a nourishing community dinner. Our night will end with intention setting and ice-breaker style games.
Day Two: Start the morning honoring your body with a healthy breakfast, follow by time for gratitude. We will then go out to paddle board the river and observe nature. This activity will be followed by lunch. After lunch we will explore the dunes and the lush landscape of the cape. A family-style dinner will follow our time outside. Optional fire on the beach in the evening, with discussion of self-compassion and being unapologetically yourself.
Day Three: After a thoughtful breakfast, we will depart for Proposal Rock and do 4.7 mile hike. We will have lunch while we are out and about. Once we return to Pacific City, we will do a Nature Immersion Walk with no technology. We will be participating in a self-expression painting activity. All supplies are provided and you will be able to take your artwork home. Dinner will be at the retreat location, followed by a mini-workshop.
Day Four: After a quick breakfast, we will be driving north toward Seaside, Oregon where we will have a 3 hour group session with a Spiritual Practitioner and psychic. After this session we will go out for lunch in this cute seaside town. We will visit some of the most popular sites in northern Oregon. Afterward we will return to Pacific City for dinner and a reflection activity.
Day Five: This morning we will start with a nourishing breakfast, follow up a trip to Cape Mares and the surrounding lighthouse. We will eat lunch and proceed to Pedal the Rail. This is a fun group activity that takes you on a unique, scenic ride along an old railway. The evening will provide a delicious dinner followed by a Mala session where you will make your own Mala jewelry. The supplies will be provided and you get to take your jewelry home with you.
Day Six: After breakfast, we will get our bodies moving by doing a 4.6 mile hike through Lower Cascade Head. We will be out for lunch. After we return home you will have the option to do some yoga/stretching followed by a sound bath. After the sound bath we will have dinner, and then time for journaling, reflection, and card drawing.
Day Seven: Our last day will be spent enjoying one another and reflecting on all the things we learned about, uncovered, and shared during this retreat. We will have a healthy breakfast, an opportunity to walk the beach, and a reflection activity. The retreat officially ends at 10:30am, at which time you will depart the home in Pacific City.
